A Compassionate and Personalized Approach to Your Well-Being

A Modern, Tailored Approach to Therapy

I don’t believe therapy is a 'one size fits all' process. As an integrative therapist, I tailor my approach to meet your unique needs. Whether we’re exploring deep, core issues or addressing more immediate concerns such as work-related stress or your relationship, we work to uncover ‘blocks’ that may be contributing to feelings of low self-worth or anxiety. To that end, I’m able to employ bespoke interventions that suit what you specifically came to therapy for.

Confidentiality is at the core of my practice. Everything we discuss remains private in accordance with UKCP and BACP ethical guidelines. I can ensure you will have a safe and non-judgmental space to explore your thoughts and feelings. My approach combines a deep understanding of various therapeutic modalities and a commitment to creating a trusting relationship for you to open up and begin the work of therapy.

Collaborative healing: How I work

I don’t just sit silently on a couch and listen—I believe in building a collaborative relationship where I walk alongside you through difficult times (sometimes literally with walking therapy!). I have experience working with both short and long-term contracts and will discuss this with you during our first session to see which might be more appropriate.

You are the author of your narrative. My role is to help you explore, reflect, and find your own insights that guide you toward solutions. This process isn’t about changing you at your core, but rather the behaviours and patterns that have brought you to treatment.

Areas of focus

Anxiety

Anxiety can feel overwhelming, but with the right support, it is possible to regain control and build resilience. I work with you to identify the root causes of your anxiety, offering strategies like mindfulness, grounding techniques, and cognitive reframing to manage symptoms and reduce stress.

Relationships

Whether you’re struggling with communication, trust, or conflict, I help you explore the dynamics that shape your relationships. My approach encourages assertive communication patterns, self-awareness, and emotional regulation, supporting you in fostering stronger and more fulfilling connections.

Living with depression can feel isolating, but healing is possible. I use an integrative approach to help you identify the underlying factors contributing to your low mood, exploring both emotional and cognitive aspects, and creating actionable strategies to build positivity, motivation, and a renewed sense of purpose.

Depression

Stress & Anger

Work, family, or personal pressures can sometimes lead to heightened stress or anger. I work with you to explore the sources of these emotions and teach you tools to manage your reactions effectively, so you can find a calmer, more balanced approach to life’s challenges.

Trauma

Whether from childhood or recent experiences, trauma can have a lasting impact. I provide a safe and compassionate space to process your feelings at your own pace, using trauma-informed therapeutic techniques to help you heal, regain a sense of control, and work toward emotional recovery.

Life Changes

Major life transitions, such as moving, career shifts, bereavement or changes in family dynamics, can bring about uncertainty and stress. I support you in navigating these changes with clarity and confidence, helping you manage the emotional adjustments and make decisions that align with your goals and values.

Post Partum

Post-pregnancy can be a time of great joy, but it can also bring emotional and physical challenges. I offer support through this transformative period, helping you cope with the stresses and changes that come after pregnancy, as well as fostering emotional well-being during this significant life transition.

Suicidal Thoughts

Suicidal thoughts are a serious concern, and I’m here to support you in those moments of distress. Through compassionate listening and focused therapeutic techniques, I help you work through your feelings and develop coping strategies, while ensuring you feel heard and supported every step of the way.

Work Related Stress

Work-related stress can take a toll on both your professional and personal life. I work with you to explore the sources of stress, whether it's workload, relationships, or lack of fulfillment, and we develop strategies to regain control, establish boundaries, and create a healthier balance between work and personal life.
